The Lac Ste. Anne Community Choir began in September of 2011 with only five members. Each step was a challenge, because the group needed rehearsal space, multiple copies of songs, an accompanist, and most important, a choir director. The choir has a range of both male and female voices and the membership grows each season.
Each season, the public can hear us in a variety of ways. We sing for seniors at Chateau Lac Ste. Anne, for church congregations, and for community groups. We hold a special "Friends and Family Night" and perform at community functions and special events.
If you love music, are willing to perform and want some fun, come and see what all the talk and excitement is about. New members are accepted at the beginning of each session - that's early September and early January. If you aren't sure that choir will be a fit for you, try it for two consecutive weeks with no obligation. We practice every Wednesday from 7 - 9 p.m. at the Heritage Centre in Alberta Beach (5012 - 49 Ave.)
